EXT. DESERT CEREMONIAL PLATFORM – DAY
The desert has been transformed.
BANNERS stretch for miles — tall poles driven into sand.
Each bears the same image:
ZHAD IN THE SUN.
His face ringed in fire. Eyes calm. Absolute.
They ripple like a second horizon.
At the center of the plain rises a MASSIVE STONE PLATFORM,
freshly quarried, brutal in its geometry. Wide steps meant
for crowds.
At its summit: the BRAZEN BULL.
Huge. Hollow. Bronze dull and heat-drinking. Its mouth
frozen in a permanent bellow.
Smoke curls from vents along its spine.
Around it move the YOGRA PRIESTS.
Masked. Red. Elongated. Inhuman.
Spiked collars. White symbols painted on skin and leather —
suns, spears, broken men.
They DANCE.
Not wildly.
Precisely.
Drums pound in layered rhythm. Bone rattles shake. Spear-
butts strike earth in unison.
Every movement rehearsed.
Every scream timed.
This is not worship.
It is theater.
CROWD – CONTINUOUS
Thousands kneel.
Not silent — murmuring, chanting Zhad’s name as invocation
and warning.
Children stare upward, transfixed.
Old men do not look at the bull.
They look at the banners.
PLATFORM STEPS
Zhad ascends.
No armor. Dark robes. Sunlight catches scars on scalp and
shoulders.
He stops before the bull.
The priests freeze.
Silence slams down like a lid.
Zhad raises one hand.
MUSIC CUT.
A PRISONER is dragged forward — shackled, sunburned, barely
alive.
Zhad studies him with mild curiosity.
ZHAD
You survived the desert.
The prisoner nods, sobbing.
Zhad leans closer.
ZHAD (cont'd)
And now you know who it belongs to.
He steps back.
The priests move.
The bull’s hatch opens.
Heat breathes out.
The crowd does not cheer.
They bow.
WIDE SHOT
Banners to the horizon.
The bull glowing brighter.
The priests resume their dance.
Above it all, ZHAD IN THE SUN watches without expression.
Not a god born of myth – but of endurance, cruelty, and
order.
