New Texas continues to update its anti-air and defensive resources as the bats continue to encroach into the city. The Downtown sector uses military-grade defensive systems, including automated tracking arrays, rooftop searchlights, hardened observation posts, and rapid-response teams positioned throughout the central district.
City officials insist the measures are precautionary.
Residents are advised to report unusual aerial activity, avoid rooftops after dark, and comply immediately with emergency lighting and shelter orders.
Authorities have also reminded citizens that unauthorized weapons fire at bats is prohibited within city limits.
“The perimeter remains secure,” a city defense spokesperson said Tuesday. “New Texas has not fallen, and it will not fall.”
